Position:  Registered Clinical Officers – (2)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be a Diploma Holder of Clinical Medicine and surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Must be conversant with National Policies and Guidelines in comprehensive HIV/AIDS Management.
  • Must be Computer literate
  • Training in Comprehensive HIV Care and Treatment is an added advantage
  • At least two (2) years working experience as a Clinical Officer in HIV/AIDs Care and Treatment setting is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a team player willing to learn as well as train and mentor others.

Required Licenses, Certification or Registration: 

Must be registered with the Kenya Clinical Officers’ Council (KCOC)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for carrying out clinical activities which includes Medical history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, prescription and counselling.
  • Clear and accurate documentation of all activities carried out.
  • Co-ordinate patient care with other departments in the hospital
  • Participate in decision making and apply principles of management in day to day activities
  • Observe good clinical practices while carrying out assigned duties
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
