Microfinance Company Branch Manager Job in Kenya


Our microfinance needs to fill the following position
 
Job Title: Branch Manager
 
Department: Branch
 
Main Purpose of Role:
 
To effectively manage the staff and functions of the Branch sales area of responsibility, inclusive of ensuring that a professional and excellent customer & client service is given both internally and externally within the Mayibuye Group; whilst conforming to the Group’s strategic priorities / imperatives.
 
To ensure that the Branch sales strategy is implemented and performance targets in terms of the sales strategy are achieved.
 
Required Minimum Education / Training
  • Proficient on MS Office suite; 
  • NCR understanding; 
  • Clean criminal or ITC record
Required Minimum Work Experience
  • 3 Years Microfinance experience. 
  • 1 Year management experience and sales experience.

  • Acquisition of new business

  • Analyse market, customer and competitors on an on-going basis
  • Ensure that all marketing material is optimally utilised
  • Ensure accurate processing of loans and adherence to administration policies in order to minimise rejection rates and turn-around times
  • Ensure that all policies are adhered to and ensure that all aspects of the National Credit Act or any applicable regulation relating to sales of credit products and the rendering of financial services are complied with fully as per the relevant policies and procedures
  • Timeous follow up of new and existing leads
  • Innovative sales initiatives

  • Meet and exceed budgeted sales targets through
  • Innovative sales initiatives to acquire new customers and retention of existing customers
  • Converting leads to sales

  • Assisting sales consultants with sales initiatives and prospecting of new business

  • Reports timeously and accurately as and when required (daily, weekly, monthly and general)
  • Dept monthly reports are the minimum reporting requirement
  • All risks must be escalated and reported immediately

  • Monthly status reports are accurate, informative and on time
