Positions Available

1. Head of Fraud Management - Africa

Reporting to: Director, Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management Africa

Job purpose
  • In charge of Fraud Strategy in collaboration with Regional RAFM (Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management) Heads for all Africa
  • In charge of Fraud Prevention through training & awareness programs across airtel Africa (de-risked new product launch etc)
  • Drive strategy to ensure investigation and close looping of all network related fraud for Africa
  • Responsible for fraud systems, people and process improvements for all Africa (direct link with partners)
  • Manage various internal information systems (internal audit reports, communication from Law Enforcement Agents, GSMA alerts, Anti —money laundering lists from Central Banks etc.) to build reference data (blacklist MSISDNs, hot list destinations) for the Fraud Management System.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Experience managing fraud ¡n a telecoms environment
  • 10 years working experience with a significant part of this working ¡n a fraud management function
  • Exposure to working at a Head office of a multi country operation and ability to manage large team of people in a complex & multi-cultural environments ¡s an added advantage
  • Exposure to GSMA Fraud Forum
  • Knowledge of English and/ or French.
2. Head of Project Assurance - Africa

Reporting to: Director, Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management Africa.

Job purpose
  • Effectively managing group driven projects (Network, IT, Marketing, Regulatory with impact on customers/ revenue)
  • Design risk assessment of new products/ services and mitigating controls for all Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM) processes and controls as well as ensuring strict application of airtel Finance policy on the management of revenue generating events
  • Developing RAFM controls, policy, procedure and processes framework for new products/services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 10 years working experience with a significant part being assurance work in a telecoms environment
  • Knowledge of English and/ or French.
3. Regional Revenue Assurance Manager - Anglophone

Reporting to: Regional Head of Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management - Anglophone Africa.

Job purpose
  • Operational review of all gaps in Voice, SMS, Data revenue/ cost from Prepaid, Postpaid, Roamingin/ out/ OneNetwork, Interconnect, Primary Sales 8. Value Added Services.
  • Ensure quick close looping of revenue leakage or revenue risk identified with cross functional team in each one of the Anglophone operation of airtel
  • Systematic follow up and closure of all Internal Assurance findings for all Anglophone operations of airtel
  • End to End management and review of new product launch in all Anglophone operations of airtel.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 6 years working experience in a Revenue Assurance function of a large telecoms operator.
4. Regional Revenue Assurance Manager - Francophone

Reporting to: Regional Head of Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management - Francophone Africa.

Job purpose
  • Operational review of all gaps in Voice, SMS, Data revenue/ cost from Prepaid, Postpaid, Roaming in/out/OneNetwork, Interconnect, Primary Sales & Value Added Services
  • Ensure quick close looping of revenue leakage or revenue risk identified with cross functional team in each one of the Francophone operation of airtel
  • Systematic follow up and closure of all Internal Assurance findings for all Francophone operations of airtel
  • End to End management and review of new product launch ¡n all Francophone operations of airtel.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 6 years working experience in a Revenue Assurance function of a Large telecoms operator
  • Must be fluent in French and able to converse in English.
5. Regional Fraud Manager - Francophone

Reporting to: Regional Head of Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management - Francophone Africa.

Job purpose: For all Operations in the Francophone Region, take responsibility for close looping and investigating all findings related to fraud on all revenue streams:
  • Manage input to FMS (rules & thresholds)
  • Manage output from FMS (alarms)
  • Investigate cases and ensure closure within agreed service levels
  • Actively monitor roaming fraud —test SIMs & HUR reports
  • Quantify & report on losses associated with fraud incidents.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 6 years working experience in Fraud Management or Revenue Assurance
  • Exposure to GSMA Fraud Forum
  • Must be fluent in French and able to converse ¡n English.
6. Regional Fraud Manager - Anglophone

Reporting to: Regional Head of Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management - Anglophone Africa

Job purpose

For all Operations in the Anglophone Region, take responsibility for close looping and investigating alt findings related to fraud on all revenue streams:
  • Manage input to FMS (rules & thresholds)

  • Day to day identification of gaps in all Voice, SMS, Data revenue/ cost from Pre paid, Postpaid, Roaming in/ out/OneNetwork, Interconnect, Primary Sales & Value Added Services
  • Assist the Regional RA Manager in reinforcing controls of new product/services post launch.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • 3 to 5 years working experience in Revenue Assurance
  • Must be fluent ¡n French and able to converse in English.
8. Regional Revenue Assurance Specialist - Anglophone

Reporting to: Regional Revenue Assurance Manager — Anglophone.

Job purpose
