Office and Extended Supply Chain Champion Job in Kenya


A leading multinational Fast Moving Commodity Goods (FMCG) company that takes pride in manufacturing of some of the worlds leading foods, home and personal care products.
Reporting to the TPM Manager, Country/Cluster the main purpose of this role is to support achievement of operational excellence in the office processes and extended supply chain using TPM tools to identify and address loss areas.

The job holder is also responsible for equipping all relevant parties within the offices and extended supply chain with relevant TPM knowledge to maintain agreed excellence standards.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for analysis of business waste, office and extended supply chain losses and prioritization of projects to address them
  • Implementation of projects to eliminate key losses arising from Office and extended supply chain issues such as suppliers and distributors
  • Work with suppliers to identify and eliminate all quality and supply related losses
  • Work together with the sales teams to drive up excellence to reduce stock loss, damages , stock take and loading time
  • Drive projects to improve Quality in Distribution
  • Champion projects to simplify processes and reduce paperwork through automation
  • Benchmark Office and Extended Supply Chain practices and implement relevant best practices locally.
  • Conduct relevant TPM training to parties in the extended supply chain to maintain excellence standards
Requirements
  • Degree in a business related field and a higher diploma in supply chain management.
  • At least three (3) years experience working in distribution/supply chain and sales.
  • Experience driving continuous performance improvement in these functions would be an added advantage
  • Experience managing Quality, Safety and Environment
  • Experience in Knowledge and Information Management
  • An analytical thinker with the drive and concern for Rigour and Order
  • A Self-driven, proactive team player
