Technical Engineer

Main purpose of the job
Developing new products and process specifications while improving existing products and process specifications to meet customer satisfaction

Main purpose of the job
Developing new products and process specifications while improving existing products and process specifications to meet customer satisfaction
Among others, key accountabilities will include:-
- Providing design support for developing and evaluating prototype Products as per specifications
- Customizing tire design specifications into manufacturing specifications and giving technical guidance during limited production phase
- Training production staff on processing specifications
- Developing critical production control points for products to maintain quality
- Leading in solving products quality problems
- Providing technical data relating to the product and process during new production equipment acquisition and commissioning
- Identifying and implementing product's manufacturing processes improvements
Knowledge,
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or its equivalent)
- Product, process & packaging knowledge expertise
- Project management skills
- At least 3 years experience in a similar or comparable role
- A team player with excellent communication skills, Attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
- High standards of ethics and values
