Program Manager – Social Enterprise Program
Education
Undergraduate degree in Social/Community Development or related degree.
Work Experience
3 years in similar organization performing duties similar to those set out in this job description.
Contract
1 year renewable contract.
Job Duties
The Program Manager will set up and fully manage our Social Enterprise Program. This will involve the
following:
- Research on successful Social Enterprise programs nationally and internationally. Research local community needs, and assess the feasibility of the different enterprise avenues.
- Develop business plans for potential Enterprise Programs including cost analysis and ROI for the chosen model.
- Write proposals for potentially seeking funding through grants and borrowing.
- Set up training programs (either in-house or contract) for local community in business skills and related enterprise.
- Liaise with PR and Sales team to promote the Social Enterprise Program.
- Carry out regular M & E of the Program and report to the Board of Directors.
- Spend a reasonable amount of time in Malindi working with local communities.
