Projects Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya


We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified construction company involved in Building & Civil works and Real Estate with operations in Kenya, South Sudan and looking to grow into Rwanda.
We are looking to recruit a highly qualified and motivated individual, to fill the position of Projects
Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role holder will head the technical/projects department and will be responsible for the overall planning, execution and monitoring of all projects to ensure that all project specifications & quality standards, project timelines, budgets and profitability projections, have been met.
S/he will oversee all the construction related resources and staff.

Desired Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • BSc Civil Engineering and a Diploma in project/construction management from recognized institutions
  • A Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • A post graduate qualification in Project Management is mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience majorly in building projects out of which 5 years should be in a senior supervisory or management position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects
  • Registration with ERB and membership with IEK shall be added advantage
  • Must have hands-on experience in BOQ preparation and tendering procedures
  • Must have hands on and demonstrable project management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of the teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to manage relationships with diverse clients
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the construction sites within the East Africa region.
