Position: Facilities Manager

Main Purpose of Job
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing facilities and company assets at the Regional office, vehicle fleet management and 3rd party contract management e.g. canteen, house cleaning e.t.c.
Key Responsibilities will be to;

Main Purpose of Job
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing facilities and company assets at the Regional office, vehicle fleet management and 3rd party contract management e.g. canteen, house cleaning e.t.c.
Key Responsibilities will be to;
- Manage property relocation and ensure proper spacing & layout modification of all company facilities;
- Ensure maintenance and improvement works are carried out to all company head office assets and buildings;
- Propose and manage implementation of cost saving solutions as well as budget control on all facilities aspects;
- Manage all primary company contact with landlord/s;
- Organize and manage all General Services e.g. cleaning, canteen e.t.c;
- Ensure quality execution of contractors management;
- Manage the company’s Fleet by ensuring vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption control and optimization;
- Maintain key relationships with other functions internally e.g. Technical, Safety Health and Environment e.t.c.
The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field from a recognized university;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance and management of facilities, preferably with an FMCG background;
- Good working knowledge and experience on project management;
- Technical knowledge on electricity, sanitation, air conditioning and motor vehicle maintenance;
- Ability to conduct health and safety awareness;
- General understanding of financial analysis, budget reports and relevant business drivers;
- Excellent people management skills, with ability to achieve results through others.
