A multinational advertising company specializing in Point of Purchase/Point of Sale (POP) signage is looking to recruit a Shop Floor Supervisor.
The
ideal candidate shall be responsible for the daily supervision and coordination
of employees working on Point of Purchase Signage.
Candidates who have previous experience working for a signage company will have an added advantage.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supervise the development of Point of Purchase (POP) signage including managing welders, fitters and printers working on the shop floor.
- Constantly monitor the progress of shop floor activities versus plan.
- Plan flow of materials in the shop floor and develop physical layout of machines according to work orders
- Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair signage which fail to meet standards
- Establish or adjust manning or work procedures to meet schedules
- Train employees on the importance of safety measures and ensure safety policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop floor production
- Analyze and resolve work problems
Qualifications
and Competences
- At least a Diploma in Engineering related course
- A minimum of 3-5years experience in production planning and scheduling for point of purchase signage
- Should be able to read technical drawings for machine loading
- Should have strong team leading skills
- Candidates who have previous experience working for a signage company will have an added advantage.
