Specific duties and responsibilities include:

in-charge of supervision of projects in aerodromes, airstrips, seaport,
rail, roads and general civil works;
- development
and review of general and specific policies and strategies for the
transport sector;
- studying
the social, economic and environmental impacts of transporting systems on
the ecosystems;
- planning,
directing, controlling and designing of transportation projects;
- planning,
directing, controlling and monitoring operations of transportation
systems;
- planning,
directing and controlling of research, standardization and operation of
transport systems; and
- any
other duties relevant to the specialization as may be assigned from time
to time.
