PRASOL Program and Marketing Assistant Jobs in Kenya


PRASOL Training and Consulting Ltd (PRASOL) is specialized in offering up-to date Practical Solutions on Management and Institutional Development. 

PRASOL is legally registered in Kenya since 2005 and has been working towards developing capacities of individuals in non-for-profit, private, and public institutions in the East and the Horn of Africa regions. 

PRASOL is seeking to recruit focused, self driven, professional, result-oriented individuals of high integrity in the following positions:

Program Assistant

Reporting to the Managing Director this position is responsible for providing support to the development of and execution of various PRASOL consultancies and training assignments. 

A good understanding of consultancy and training business environment is a must.

Desired Expertise:
  • Expertise in writing project proposals, Expressions of Interest (EoIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy under time constraints and pressure; to deal patiently and tactfully with others and to have a high sense of confidentiality, initiative and good judgment.
  • Good organizing, decision-making and analytical capabilities.
  • A good understanding of how consultancy and/or training services work – both in NGOs and the private sector.
  • Computer literacy in Ms Office packages especially in Ms Office applications including Power Point and graphic design skills.
Academic Qualifications:
  • Degree in social sciences/Community development/Project Management/ business administration or other related fields from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 2years experience as working on projects or related assignments preferably with NGOs or corporate organization.
  •  Knowledge of Kenyan laws and regulations will an added advantage
Marketing Assistant

Reporting to the Managing Director, the position is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the company’s marketing plans. 

The position holder is responsible for increasing awareness of, and visibility of all the PRASOL’s Consultancy and Training services through creative marketing ideas and communication strategies.

Desired Expertise
  •  Ability develop and implement marketing plans
  • Ability to make good presentations about PRASOL trainings ad consultancy services to prospective clients
  • Excellent writing skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizing, decision-making and analytical capabilities.
  • A good understanding of how consultancy and/or training services works will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with accuracy under time constraints and pressure; to deal patiently and tactfully with others and to have a high sense of confidentiality, initiative and good judgment.
  • Computer literacy in Ms Office packages including Power Point and graphic design skills.
Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business or related field with a marketing option from a recognized university.
  • At least 2 years’ experience at the same level in a small to medium size firm
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills.
