The Standard Group Brand Manager Job in Kenya


The Standard Group, comprises of The Standard Newspaper, Game Yetu, The County Weekly, KTN, Radio Maisha, PDS, Standard Digital and Think Outdoor Services. 

The Group is looking for highly motivated, qualified, experienced and reputable team players to fill the position:

Brand Manager

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement the Division’s annual and long term marketing plans..
  • Develop the brand strategies and value propositions for the various digital assets of The Standard Group.
  • Analyze and drive key performance Indicators for the TV and newspaper assets - Awareness, Uptake of New Services and Products.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies including the development of comprehensive advertising briefs, compelling creative campaigns and effective media plans.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence, monitoring and anticipation of consumer and market trends.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing
  • 3 to 5 years in a Marketing role with significant experience in product development and market entry strategy.
  • Self driven, passionate and proactive individual who can work under pressure and within set deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively present and implement action plans
  • Tenacity and resolve to work in a fast paced job.
  • Extremely creative with ability to think out of the box.
