1. Senior Underwriters
Key
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting
to the Assistant General Manager, the position holders will be responsible for
the following duties:-
- Ensure
all underwriting procedures are followed in placing business.
- Assist
in tendering process as guided by the manager.
- Manage
and train departmental staff.
- Responsible
for the implementation of departmental objectives.
- Strictly
adhere to established control systems.
- Maintain
good public relations with the underwriters and clients.
Minimum
Qualifications and Skills
- A
Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or related field.
- Have
at least ACII and /or AIIK qualifications or good progress in these
examinations.
- Have
at least five (5) years experience in general insurance underwriting at a
senior level.
- Experience
gained in an Insurance broking firm will be an added advantage.
- Ability
to work independently and is self motivated.
- Ability
to work well with others as a team player and have a notable track record
in leading a team through creativity and innovation.
- Computer
literate.
- Excellent
written and verbal skills in both English and Kiswahili.
2. Marketing Executives
Key
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting
to the Assistant General Manager, the position holders will be responsible for
the following duties:-
- Identify
and develop new business opportunities.
- Carry
out market research and intelligence.
- Establishing
and maintaining a good working relationship with insurance companies.
- Must
work hard in achieving set individual and company targets.
Minimum
Qualifications and skills
- University
graduate with Degree/Diploma in business related field.
- Have
at least five (5) years experience in sales and marketing of insurance
products.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
- Self
motivated, outgoing and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Age
between 25-35 years.
- ACII/AIIK
qualifications or good progress thereof will be an added advantage.
- Possess
customer service skills.
