Baseline Survey Consultant
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Somalia is an International Non-Governmental Organization registered in Kenya and operating in Somalia.
ADRA is seeking services of a professionally qualified and experienced consultant to carry out A Baseline Survey in Somaliland and Gal-Mudug Regions.
Purpose of Baseline Survey:
1. Conduct field baseline surveys in Sool, Sanaag,Toghdeer,Gebiley,Mo roodi Jeh and Awdal regions of Somaliland and Gal-Mudug regions of central Somalia to collect population–based, statistically representative WASH and (ERMS) Economic Recovery and Market Systems baseline data that will be used for project planning, monitoring and evaluation.
1.1 In conducting the baseline survey, the consultant should visit project areas/sites and interview beneficiary communities, local authorities, government officials and other project stakeholders involved in the project and obtain substantive WASH and ERMS baseline data
1.2 Provide a comprehensive WASH and ERMS baseline data report, in which description of the baseline survey methodologies, analysis and results obtained are defended and explained.
1.3 Report findings, lessons learned, best practices, outstanding gaps and key recommendations
Qualifications and Expertise of the Consultant:
- A master’s degree in social sciences.
- Experience in carrying out baseline surveys and assessments for WASH and food security programs.
- Experience in assessing qualitative impacts and processes relating to attitudinal change.
- Well experienced with program design, planning, monitoring and evaluation of donor programs.
- Professional experience in developing countries preferably previous experience working in Somalia/Somaliland.
