RICO Office Manager Job in Juba South Sudan

a national firm with its head office in Juba, South Sudan. The firm has international stature and draws its expertise from all over the world.

To that extent RICO wishes to engage a vibrant, creative, innovative and enterprising Office Manager to kick-start its activities in the RoSS.

Immediate Supervisor: Provisionally to Board of Directors, and eventually to General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the RICO office.
  • Creates and manages a database for RICO’s clients, including consultants, suppliers, etc
  • Develop and implement a rigorous marketing strategy for RICO’s products with the market
  • Prepares business plans as opportunities arise and presents to the General Manager for approval
  • Markets RICO’s goods and services and ensures that RICO secures contracts and business deals
  • Responsible for RICO’s Public Relations work and ensures that RICO is well profiled in the market
  • Establishes and maintains effective office information management systems including files, hardware, software, and technical support.
  • Manages RICO’s assets and safeguards its business interests.
  • Serves as primary liaison between RICO and its clients and the general pubic
  • Supports the General Manager on policy matters concerning administration.
  • Manages the hiring process from preparing the job advertisements to interviews to nomination.
  • Participates in all interviews and maintain the resumes, scoring sheets and results for staff and consultants.
  • Prepares contracts for RICO’s employees, consultants and short-term assistants.
  • Performs any other relevant duties as may be directed by the supervisor

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • At least a Diploma in business administration, with specialization in Marketing or its equivalent
  • A minimum of five years working experience with the private sector in administration and finance
  • A minimum of 1 years working experience in a supervisory role. This work experience must comprise considerable familiarity with accounting, payroll, procurement and logistical support services.
  • Excellent command of the English Language (written & oral)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A working knowledge of data management using Microsoft Access Word and Excel software programs
  • Extensive knowledge of personnel administration principles
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Be multi-tasked and capable of efficiently responding to the needs of the project staff
  • Ability to effectively respond to continuously evolving organizational priorities
  • Experience in preparing business plans and bids
