Marketing / PR Manager
A leading publishing company is looking for Marketing / PR Manager.
Purpose
Develop and execute effective marketing solutions to cultivate brand and growth of the publishing house and identify new marketing opportunities.
Duties
- Develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business growth.
- Able to bring fresh ideas and contacts from the media industry.
- Design, implement and facilitate the marketing plan for the company.
- Public Relations efforts: Bring media attention to news worthy activities write and disseminate press releases.
- Identify new potential advertising partners
- Develop creative ways to promote the magazine
- Develop and administer a marketing database
Education and Training
- BS/BA in Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- Experience and media connections in the media industry in Kenya are an added advantage.
- Experienced with internet advertising and highly efficient with social media.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.
- Marketing experience in a midsize company is required.
Personal Attributes
- Excellent communicator; verbal and written
- Wide knowledge of marketing techniques and concepts
- Creative thinking
- Be proactive and take the initiative
- Have good business awareness
- Be able to respond well under pressure.
Salary: Ksh. 50,000
