Head of Training Job in Kenya

a Training firm is looking for an energetic, dynamic Head of Training & Development to successfully execute training & development programmes based on client specifications, and to increasingly grow the Client portfolio of the firm while ensuring the delivery of quality programmes. 

The position reports to the General Manager.

Descriptor: Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and successfully execute training and development programs based on BrandQuad clients specifications; 
  • Meet set revenue targets by ensuring effective marketing full implementation of the scheduled programs; 
  • Evaluate facilitator performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement; 
  • Revise and amend BrandQuad programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment; 
  • Support BrandQuad team to solve specific training challenges; 
  • Ensure programmes are conducted within pre-set programme budgets; 
  • Prepare and present training reports to the GM, BrandQuad after every training session; 
  • Evaluate the success of BrandQuad services and the overall programs on BrandQuad clients; Research on industry trends to regularly appraise the BrandQuad training content; 
  • Track and maintain engaged alumni relationships to establish the level of application of principles learnt and develop case studies; 
  • Set up an active BrandQuad alumni forum and send out relevant information; and 
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies for BrandQuad programmes to ensure maximum uptake of the programmes.
Special Focus: Job Skills & Competencies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and possesses social and economic knowledge as well as culture and custom knowledge. 
  • Proficient in event organization with strong presentation and facilitation skills. 
  • Possesses good interpersonal, Coaching and Leadership skills. 
  • An effective communicator (both written and oral in English and Kiswahili, with excellent time management skills.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Marketing) or Equivalent and Higher Diploma in Human Resources
