The Wrigley Company Area Sales Manager Job in Kenya

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit additionalArea Sales Manager reporting to Sales Manager, Kenya position.

Job Purpose
 

Develop and implement sales strategies and programmes aimed at continuously growing the business and achieving hot spot displays in all existing and potential outlets within stipulated area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement strategy for area under jurisdiction including brand visibility, excellent displays of Wrigley’s products in all categories of outlets in a given region by effective supervision and control of sales and merchandising team.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure continuity of supply to the wholesale and retail trade by ensuring stock planning and availability and by implementing and enforcing official team itinerary.
  • Lead, mentor, coach and manage the Wrigley field force in assigned region ensuring maximum distribution and display of Wrigley brands.
  • Achieve standard of excellence through training, motivation and guidance by identifying training needs of direct reports and motivate them to meet their targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Business related field
  • Three years experience in a similar position in the FMCG Industry with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Strong selling and negotiating skills.
  • Proven analytical and leadership skills as well as a strong business acumen.
  • Ability to engage team members and develop talent.
  • Clean & Valid Driving license.
