Factory Workshop Supervisor
Summary   

Our client, a subsidiary of a leading multinational is involved in large scale tea production with a commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and environmental care.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for management of the mechanical workshop, productivity improvement & ensure high standards of machinery maintenance in the factory are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the business targets aligned to the Company Strategy
  • Prepare and implement Machinery Maintenance Schedule for the all factory machinery
  • Maintain Machinery Inventory for the all factory machinery
  • Ensure that all relevant legal & other requirements (mechanical) are complied with in the factory
  • Support installation of new processes & machinery
  • Take charge of machinery modification and support the implementation of TPM in the factory
  • Responsible for the implementation of all company policies and procedures in the Workshop
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in the equipment
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance of factory machinery.
  • Analyse maintenance related data and generate KPI trends for use to embed productivity
  • Ensure proper record keeping of all the equipment & monitor usage.
  • Train &  develop all staff in the Workshop and operators on machine operations
  • Ensure that the Workshop’s expenditure controls are in place
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
  • Minimum Five (5) years experience gained in an FMCG with an operational excellence environment
  • Good administration and demonstrated people management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Practical Creativity and Team Leadership skills.
