An FMCG located in Nairobi is looking for;

Production Supervisor 

Job Objective

Ensure effective and efficient coordination of all imports and exports transactions

Duties
  • Supervision of the water and juice department
  • Carrying out online analysis of the water and juice in production
  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Carrying out calibrations activities of equipment used
  • Run quality check son the production line
  • Preparation and assignment of duties to staff in the production floor
  • Ensure that good manufacturing and hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Ensure that the Health and Safety of the workforce is enforced at all times
  • Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor\logistics Manager for the transfer of the goods from production floor to Stores
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science & Technology
  • 3 years progressive working experience in FMCG firm
  • Computer literate-working knowledge of MS-Office
  • 2-4 years progressive working experience in a busy organisation
Quality Control Supervisor 

Job Objective

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change
  • Assist in Maintaining safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Carrying out calibrations activities of equipment used
  • Ensuring that the process needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained
  • Coordinate raw materials analysis to ensure that they conform to quality standards
  • Ensure that good manufacturing and hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Ensure that the Health and Safety of the workforce is enforced at all times
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management
Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science & Technology with 3 years progressive working experience in FMCG firm
  • Computer literate-working knowledge of MS-Office
  • 2-4 years progressive working experience in a busy organisation
