Supply Chain Manager, Debt Collection Coordinator, User Support Executive, GIS Analyst, Driver, Kiosk Supervisor and Accountant Jobs in Kenya

A fast growing Company is seeking to recruit competent and qualified persons in the following positions.

1. Supply Chain Manager

The overall purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate and ensure the efficient and effective procurement of goods, services and works while obtaining the best value for money.

Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement and logistics plans and procedures.
  • Implement effective internal controls and ensure proper design and functioning of the system.
  • Monitor and control procurement processes including organization of RFQ, or RFP.
  • Analyse requirements and synthesise proposals, tendering processes and contractor evaluation.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in a business related field.
  • Diploma in supplies management/procurement.
  •  Eight (8) years working experience in procurement and stores management with at least four years at a managerial/ senior level.
  • Be computer literate.
  • More than 30 years of age.

2. Debt Collection Co-ordinator

The overall purpose is to effectively manage the debt recovery activities and ensure the timely collection of all monies due.

Duties

  • Plan and implement collection strategies and make recommendations on new techniques.
  • Ensure controls and compliance with corporate policies and maintenance of necessary books of accounts.
  • Ensure debtors’ accounts are managed accurately statements issued on time.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA-K, ACCA.
  • Post graduate qualification or training in Debt Management, Credit Control or other related subject.
  • Knowledge of debt recovery procedures including legal procedures related to debt collection.
  • Five (5) years working experience in debt control/management, 2 of which should be at a supervisory level.
  • Be computer literate.

3. Systems and User Support Executive

The overall purpose is to recognize and exploit the potential of evolving information communication technologies, in order to support the business goals.

Duties

  • Enforce confidentiality and ethics with team members.
  • Implement an effective and efficient security system.
  • Implement software upgrades, train users as necessary and monitor to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years at an ICT department.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
  • Be computer literate.

4. GIS Analyst

The overall purpose is to develop and maintain a geo-information systems as required.

Duties

  • Maintain and develop GIS data.
  • Update and maintain datasets, maps and utility data using GIS software.
  • Research and interpret engineering construction plans, and various mapped information.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance GIS applications and databases.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Survey and Mapping.
  • Two (2) years experience OR
  • Diploma in Survey and Mapping
  • Professional training in GIS software.
  • Four (4) years experience.
  • Be computer literate.

5. Driver

The overall purpose is to provide efficient driving services and ensure proper functioning of the vehicle through regular repair, maintenance and cleanliness.

Duties

  • Responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
  • Perform minor repairs of a preventive nature on vehicles.
  • Ensure the vehicle insurance is valid and prompt.

Qualifications

  • 'O' level certificate with a valid Driving Permit free of endorsement.
  • Trade Test Grade III Certificate in motor-vehicle maintenance (added advantage).
  • Five (5) years driving experience free of accidents.
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

6. Kiosk Supervisor

The overall purpose is to ensure the sale of subsidised water and related services to communities as well as ensure the smooth operation of water kiosks.

Duties

  • Ensure the provision of on-going training to staff on the company’s services, customer service and operation.
  • Directs and oversees all the activities of water kiosks to ensure efficient management of the kiosk operations.
  • Work closely with community representatives and relevant in-house teams.
  • Ensure that Water Kiosk Operations Assistants follows the company’s policies and procedure.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Marketing.
  • Four (4) years experience working with communities.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Relationship building and networking skills.
  • Be computer literate.

7. Accountant

The overall purpose is to provide financial and business advice and information to support strategic business decision-making.

Duties

  • Maintain the general ledger and control accounts balancing and reconciliation.
  • Prepare special financial reports e.g. creditors, capital expenditure, specified tax returns and schedules.
  • Ensure all financial accounting tasks adhere to the financial policy procedures and control systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration, accounting or finance.
  • CPA (K)
  • 2 years experience in a large and busy accounting business environment.
  • Be computer literate.
