RFP for Brand Management Consultancy Services
Laptrust
Administration Services Ltd is a Retirement Benefits Scheme Administrator
registered by the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) and currently administers
Local Authorities Pension Trust retirement scheme (a Defined Benefit Scheme)
& Laptrust retirement fund (a Defined Contribution Scheme).
Laptrust
is a limited liability company incorporated in Kenya under the provisions of
the Companies Act, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Kenya and whose registered office
is situated at LAPTRUST House, Nairobi.
Laptrust
invites eligible, qualified and interested Brand Management Consultants for the
RFP for Brand Management Consultancy Services.
Duly
executed service contract will run for a period of one year effective March
2013 to April 2014.
The
contract with the successful firm shall be reviewed at the end of the contractual
period and MAY be renewed for another two subsequent years if performance under
review was satisfactory.
Firms/Registered
entities submitting the RFP should be able to demonstrate and substantiate
through their references and profiles that they have the requisite experience,
capability and capacity both technically and financially to execute the
project.
The RFP document is available upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kshs. 2,500.00 (Kenya Shillings Two Thousand, Five Hundred only) at the Cash Office located on the 1st Floor of LAPTRUST House during normal working hours.
Detailed
RFP instructions and specifications should be obtained from the Procurement
Office situated on 6th Floor, LAPTRUST House upon presentation of evidence of
payment for purchase of the RFP document.
RFP
Documents completed as per instructions indicating the RFP Number LAP/BRAND
MANAGEMENT SERVICES/2013/01 and addressed as indicated below should be
deposited in the Tender Box on the 6th Floor of LAPTRUST House by 11.00 a.m. on
19th February 2013.
The
duly completed RFP documents which cannot fit into the Tender Box shall be
received only between 10:00 -11:00 a.m. on the same RFP deadline day in the
Managing Director’s Office and a certificate of receipt issued.

Technical
proposals will be opened on the closing date at 11.30 a.m. in the presence of
bidders’ representatives who may wish to be present at Laptrust Boardroom on
Mezzanine floor, LAPTRUST House Nairobi.
Thereafter
same will be evaluated and only firms which meet the minimum technical score
will be formally invited for financial proposals opening in accordance with the
RFP Criteria & LAPTRUSTs’ Procurement Regulations.
A
firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and
Procedures described in the RFP & Laptrust’s Procurement Guidelines.
Laptrust reserves the right to accept or reject any bid submitted and shall not be bound by the highest or lowest bid or any other offer.
