A recently established insurance brokerage company is seeking to recruit a General Manager
who shall be responsible for the general control, direction and operation of the company.Since this position entails a shareholding offer as a Director of the company, the board is interested in discussing the position with highly entrepreneurial persons meeting the following minimum qualifications.
Academic Qualifications
· University degree in a relevant subject in Commerce/ Business Administration.
· Professional insurance qualification i.e. ACII or equivalent
Technical Competencies and Experience Requirements
· Extent of professional experience in business management, with a particular emphasis on insurance and related areas
· Ability in working in teams within a multi-disciplinary environment;
· Experience with networking and business development activities,
Selection criteria
· Relevance and quality of work experience
· Relevance of insurance market analytical skills and knowledge of insurance concepts and principles;
· Leadership, networking and coordination skills;
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· Good presentation and communication skills.
