A local faith based organization is looking for:


Human Resource Manager

Reporting to: Project Director

He/she has to take responsibilities such as recruitment, training, development, employee counseling and performance management.

Qualities/Responsibilities

The job description of a human resource manager could be presented clearly through the explanation of his/her responsibilities.

The responsibilities of a human resource manager are as follows:-
  • To guide the managers and other employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, workplace ethics and performance management.
  • The collection of HR metrics, analysis for the data. Ability to conduct orientation programs for employees.
  • The human resource manager has to study and understand the arbitration decisions, legislation and collective bargaining contracts in order to assess the trends in the industry.
  • Must be conversant with the new labour laws.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager

Reports to: Project Director

The M&E Manager will lead the overall M&E strategy for Health Program Implementation.

Responsibilities :
  • Work with partners and sites to assess and identify gaps in M&E for HIV prevention, care and treatment.
  • Draft a project M&E strategy that incorporates the ‘Three Ones’ and aligns with PEPFAR, MOH and GHI indicators.
  • Designing M&E systems that facilitate accurate, timely and complete HIV prevention data.
  • Provide mentoring and capacity building (skills transfer) to faith-based and district health organs on M&E issues, including data collection, analysis, dissemination, HMIS and other M&E topics.
  • Work with Project sites to build their capacity on M&E.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in (MPH) or other related social/health sciences preferred. Bachelor’s required.
  • At least 5 years direct experience in implementing M&E activities for HIV programs in Kenya, preferably USG-funded.
  • Prior experience supervising M&E staff for complex HIV/AIDS programs and knowledge of USG M&E indicators required by PEPFAR and extensive knowledge on monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS clinical areas.
  • Demonstrated M&E technical skills for HIV prevention, care or treatment.
  • Skills in related software such as SPSS/STATA preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
