Teaching jobs in Kigali, Rwanda


Due to enrolment growth, we will have openings for teaching positions for the subjects indicated below in August 2013 for the school year 2013/2014:

Green Hills Academy, located in Kigali, the capital city, is Rwanda’s Premier School with an enrolment of 1520 students.

Secondary: German, English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Physical Education, Economics

Experience in teaching the above subjects at IB Diploma and Cambridge IGCSE levels will be a definite asset. 

Consideration will be given to candidates with equivalent experience with their national curricula.

Primary Teachers:
Experience teaching in an international school is a definite asset.

Nursery School:
Qualified Nursery teachers are needed due to school growth.

Special needs Education Teacher.
Requirement: Specialised training at University level. Experience in that field would be an asset.

Interviews: Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interviews which will be conducted in Nairobi in February 2013.

Green Hills Academy has a stable staff with good working conditions, benefits and excellent professional development opportunities. It comprises a Nursery (ages 3-5), Primary (Grades I to 6) and a Secondary School (Grades 7 to 12).

Requirements

Applicants must possess teaching qualifications and should provide copies of relevant degrees and transcripts.
