Senior Bakery Production Specialist - Khartoum, Sudan
An international hotel based in Khartoum Sudan is looking for a senior baker production specialist.
The successful candidate will manage the commercial bakery production , oversee overall baking processes and quality assurance of products produced.
He / she MUST be able to speak Arabic.
Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the overall management of the bakery operation.
- In charge of developing bakery production plans and ensuring alignment with the related sales teams.
- Responsible for the development of new bread types to be introduced to the market in alignment with the sales & marketing section requirements.
- To manage the bakery operation manpower resources in the best fit manner, utilizing their capabilities to deliver the required standard of production.
- To establish a monitoring & control system for the bakery production ensuring that a proper hygiene system & lean process are in place.
- Responsible for the quality assurance for all the bakery operation processes.
- Responsible for the handling of any technical complaint received on products produced by the bakery.
- Responsible for the liaison with the related functional departments and bakery flour value stream to ensure the required development for the bakery flour, bakery equipment, tools, processes and bakery products is regularly maintained.
- To assist in the development of bakery development curriculum for training bakers & technical support staff.
- To assist in the development of a master baker training program to raise technical know- how in the bakery industry.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent command of Arabic & English language.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in managing a bakery production unit.
- Advanced technical education in a food related field.
- Excellent knowledge & practical experience in baking skills.
- Good planning & communication skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 297, 500 - 340,000/= (Approx. 3,500 - 4,000 USD) depending on experience
