- Deliver information security consultancy services to clients in the area of IT governance, standard compliance (ISO27001, PCI DSS, and Business Continuity).
- Consultation will also include the delivery of training services in the same domains;
- Assist the business development team in the development of business proposals and respond to tenders and request for proposals (bonus-linked based on performance)
- Work with a wide variety IT personnel to identify and work with systems experts to understand the nature of the stored data and Keys systems
- Work with and understand the data needs of in-house and outside counsel
- Keep an accurate log of the process steps you follow
- As necessary, testify as to the data collection and identification processes that were followed
- Be able to explain complex technical topics to people without a technical background in written and verbal formats
- Prepare special reports, as requested, on the discovery process or costs
- Prepare regular reports on the status of ongoing electronic discovery requests
- Be able to rapidly learn and understand the basics of any application or technology
- Create documentation to document processes and ongoing associated enhancements
- Act as part of the team in responding to internal and external partners who alert on potential incidents and attacks
- Escalates problems in a timely manner
- Acts as a backup for other team members
- Builds and sustains collaborative relationships with multiple departments and stakeholders
Key Education and Experience Skills
- CISSP, CISM, CISA
- ISO27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27001 Lead Implementer
- Degree or Postgraduate degree in IT
- Ethical Ninja, CEH, Ethical hacking course
- CCNA, MSCE
- Ability to communicate effectively to middle and senior management to present business solutions, audit findings and reports
- Ability to write effective technical and management business proposals
- Ability to manage the delivery of consultancy projects involving both
- technical and management consultants
- Experience in implementing IT (preferably IT Security) projects and has practical knowledge of IT and IT security technologies and products.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision after initial briefing.
- Knows when to notify management when deadlines are at risk.
- Act as influencer of peers and management
- Ability to communicate concisely, effectively and directly to executive management
- Train others and lead cross team coordination of work
