Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for oversight of logistics and administrative aspects of the program.
Participates in AR-K leadership and technical meetings/C.M.Es
Provides oversight of spending against budget and ensures hospitals have sufficient advances to continue scheduling programs activities and patient services.
Ensures quality assurance mechanisms are in place and in-house participatory approach takes place, across departments and services (community, CCC, lab, pharmacy, M&E)
Responsible for overall project reporting both financial and programmatic to CHAK, management team and the management board when necessary.
Ensures that there are enough staffs in the CCC and advices the donor on the same
Responsible for organising review of staff performance against job descriptions according to the health facility protocols. In some cases, developing new job descriptions.
He/she monitors the project performance on art, mortality rates, lost to follow up etc against targets, with a focus on providing all clients long term durable therapy.
Responsible for ensuring staff development within the program, including liaising with the medical director, matron and other clinic leaders for profession development opportunities for CCC staff.
Communicating with aids relief mentorship needs of CCC staff by CHAK technical advisors.
Leads team in development of program work plan, and oversees-K staff daily activities to ensure that work plan is followed.
He/she implements all program activities and writes reports on the same.
Monitors the projects constraints in order to act where necessary.
He/she act as the link between the hospital and the donor and is responsible to both.
Coordinates the team efforts with other units and the organisation in general.
Interacts and negotiate with the interested parties in the organisation.

- Minimum KCSE/KEC certificate
- A diploma/degree in Nursing or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Project Management is an added advantage
- Experience in the HIV/aids management
- Experience in management and administration in a busy health facility or project
- A team player.
- Have good communication skills
