Internal Auditor
Internal Auditor
Overall Responsibility: The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other matters and projects.
Key Result Areas
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of internal audit plans
- Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timelines
- Plan and conduct audits to ensure compliance with the company policies and standards
- Assist in ensuring efficient use of institution’s resources.
- Determine scope of review in conjunction with the Board Audit Committee.
- Review the suitability of internal control design and recommend areas for improvement
- Develop and ensure implementation of internal checks and controls.
- Carry out audit assignments as required by the Audit Committee.
- Communicate findings and share audit report with senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) or equivalent from a recognized University plus CPA (K).
- CISA qualification will be an added advantage.
- ICPAK membership

Security Officer
Overall Responsibility
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe and secure environment for company property, clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall safety and security of the hospital guests, colleagues and hospital premises
- Ensure that any violations to law or hospital policy is investigated and reported
- Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
- Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
- Conduct regular floor patrols and monitor surveillance equipment.
- Supervise contracted guards
- Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
- Assist guests regarding hospital facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Prepare and carry out periodic safety audits.
- Lead investigations and reporting on any possible breaches of security.
- Reviewing and preparation of security reports/records.
Requirements
- KCSE ‘C’ grade or above
- Basic security training from a recognized security firm and/or institution with experience in CCTV operations
- Excellent skills in fire management and first aid
- Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Kiswahili
- Good interpersonal relations, leadership and organizational skills.
- Expertise in effective use of VHF Radios.
- Proven track record in executing a security plan

Nurse in Charge - Maternity
Overall Responsibility: The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of professional nursing care by planning, organizing, and controlling nursing care services in the Maternity & MCH department while ensuring consistent provision of efficient and ethical care to achieve quality nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates patient care delivery.
- Maintains orderly flow of admissions and discharges.
- Perform regular rounds within the unit to ensure smooth operations
- Assesses patient care needs and monitors patient satisfaction.
- Addresses and resolves patient complaints in timely manner
- Ensure adequate stocks are ordered; monitor usage, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions for variances identified.
- Identify staff training needs as well as organize for Continuous Nursing Education.
- Participate in the Nursing Quality improvement activities and institutional quality activities.
- Organize and hold regular departmental meetings to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration and team work

Requirements

Pharmacy Manager
Overall Responsibility
Reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, the successful candidate will manage and control the functions in the Pharmacy to ensure smooth and efficient running of the department.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmacy or above.
- At least three years working experience, two of which should be in a supervisory capacity in a busy hospital pharmacy.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience in Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of quality management programs.

Senior House Officer (Resident Medical Officer)

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing consultations and quality clinical judgment to patients in Ambulatory and Emergency Medicine.
Requirements
- MBBS from a recognized University
- At least one- year working experience
- Must be Registered /Licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
- Competency in emergency procedures e.g. ACLS, ATLS etc will be an added advantage.

Nurse

- Registered Nurse (KRCHN) or above from an accredited School of Nursing.

Pharmaceutical Technologist

To provide quality Pharmacy services.
He/she will be expected to be an active member of the health care team in the Medical Centre.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from KMTC or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered and licensed by the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- At least one year working experience in a busy pharmacy.
- At least one year experience in inventory control and management.
- Knowledge of computer packages will be an added advantage.
Laboratory Technologist
1 Position Migori and 1 Position Nyamira
Overall Responsibilities
The successful candidate will prepare documentation, maintain sample processing records and ensure timely performance of laboratory investigations and dispatch of results.
He/she will maintain relevant equipment in terms of calibration and alignment and will be expected to comply with relevant policies and procedures including but not limited to those related to safety and infection control at the Medical Center.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or above
- Minimum five years working experience in a busy medical laboratory
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory operations and procedures
- Knowledge and experience in haematology, serology and quality control.
- Ability to write and review SOP’s
- Excellent computer skills and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Knowledge and experience in ISO 15189 Standard is desirable
- Ability to work in other laboratory sections whenever he/she is required
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board with a current practice license is mandatory
